First Holy Communion
Receiving the Bread of Life
The Sacrament of First Holy Communion is a joyful milestone in the life of a Catholic child. It is the moment they are invited to the Table of the Lord to receive the Real Presence of Jesus Christ—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—for the very first time.
Eligibility: Children in 2nd Grade (approx. age 7+) who have been Baptized.
Documentation: A copy of the child’s Baptismal Certificate is required upon registration.
Preparation: Completion of the designated 1st and 2nd-grade religious education curriculum.
The parish family at ICC consider it a profound privilege to partner with parents in preparing our children for this lifelong intimacy with Christ.
